Lightning strike

Just a brief entry to explain the lack of activity in this part of the world. Our phone line got hit by lightning early yesterday morning, taking out our home network. Things are getting patched up slowly and should be back to normal soon. The iMac is okay (thank goodness!) but it messed up our internet connection big time.

I guess you've seen the news footage of the recent freak weather in Cornwall? We've been having some pretty heavy duty storms but I think losing the home network was a small price to pay compared to those poor people in Boscastle.

I just wanted to thank everybody for their very kind words about my daughter and I definitely owe some emails when I get back online properly.

Hi I was just told about your site... Just lovely.

What Kidsilk Haze color are you using for your Birch? From what I can see on my screen, it looks like a hot pink color.

Eek !
Un-plug the iMac during storms - I always do - it'll fry all the memory if it gets zapped !
There've been bad storms & flooding up here too.Enough bad weather already !

We were on holdays in Cornwall and actually visited Boscastle. We were shocked to see the news. (I often watch BBC television)
BTW; I didn`t see any yarnstores in Cornwall, but luckily we were in London for two days which paid up (literally) for this :)
