Paying attention

I've tried much harder with the second front of Butterfly and it's taking me a-a-a-a-ges. I've not had a lot of knitting time this week and subsequently am making snail-like progress. Here's where I'm up to:

Wow - that looks pretty technicolour, doesn't it? I should have photographed against a nice pale background but we live on a farm. No plain backgrounds to be had, plus it's raining outside so no outdoor photography today.

Errata

I posted a little mistake that I found in the Butterfly pattern in my last entry: "There's a tiny error in the pattern instructions for the left front of Butterfly. The stitch count after the decrease row following the chevron patterning should read 42 not 43 for the extra small size."

I contacted Jane Ellison and she kindly emailed me the following:

Dear Anita,
Thank you for your email.
Yes, the amount should be 42sts. So that when you cast off at the armhole it should be 37sts and not 38sts. You then continue as normal. I apologise for this error and I hope you enjoy knitting the Butterfly.
Kind Regards and Happy Knitting!
Jane

Many thanks to Jane!

(I'm not sure that it's made it onto her errata page yet - worth checking if you're knitting Butterfly)

Wow. I love the colors and the striping. I usually take pictures of my work on my bed, or any flat surface with a pillowcase or sheet to provide a blank canvas (how technical!) Anyway, nobody minds! Here's to more knitting time, don't we all need it!
