My knitting this weekend was purely for pleasure - a little Caryl's Kerchief (scroll right down to the bottom) in Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino. Gorgeous stuff to knit with, and a great little pattern as well. I can see more of these in my future - possible Christmas gifts perhaps for the myriad of school helpers.
For those of you who like to see these things (I know I do!), here's the before blocking picture and here's the after-blocking picture. Don't a few pins make a difference?
I've been itching to try out some Adriafil Graphic that I bought a little while ago, so I cast on last night for a mini-sweater from Glampyre. Here's a picture of progress so far - great texture in the Graphic yarn!
Not quite sure which bit I'm knitting but I'm sure it will all come together eventually....

I was very saddened to hear of the death of John Peel today. He just played the best music - I'm off to play Teenage Kicks very loud and remember what it was to hear tracks like that for the first time.

So sad about John Peel.

Posted by: Eva Shiu at October 27, 2004 05:37 AMPretty colours Anita. I like the boob holder, (sorry, mini-sweater) tho' I don't think it's designed for those of us who have been perhaps over generously blessed. It's a bit like putting them out there on a plate ...
