Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...
Fireworks and a big bonfire tonight! Baked potatoes and sausages followed up by treacle tart with clotted cream....yummy!
Have a happy and safe bonfire night.
Posted by Anita at November 5, 2004 05:01 PMAt last,at three minutes to midnight, the fireworks have stopped !
It was like the Somme out there earlier on.The windows were rattling !
Hope you had fun and didn't frighten the livestock. :0)
Hope you had a great time. We went to the big display organised by the Council this year - which was impressive but very crowded and we had to walk miles there was no parking so some very grumpy children by the time we got back. Back to the back garden next year I think !
Posted by: Heather at November 7, 2004 01:36 PMMakes me homesick - its years since I went to a firework party. But its the treacle tart that really hit me. Oooh how I would love a slice of that right now. Enjoy....
