A picture story tells a thousand words:
Fresh off the needles
Stre-e-e-e-e-tch
Pattern and shape emerging...
Pretty pointy ends appear
Pin me up and hang me out to dry!
Stick a fork in me, I'm done!
I'm smiling for the camera....

Flower Basket Shawl designed by Evelyn A. Clark from Interweave Knits Fall 2004
Knitted using one strand of Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino, colour 340700, a rich cherry red. I used three 50g balls.
Wow, what a difference a spot of blocking makes, eh? The shawl is gorgeous. Love that color! Very vibrant.

Posted by: kerrie at December 14, 2004 04:37 PMHi Anita! I've been slacking off while you knit this beautiful shawl. It is incredible. I do think that bolder colors contrasting with delicate lace patterns are brilliant. Now how many pins did you use this time? :-)
Posted by: MJ at December 14, 2004 07:48 PMYour shawl has turned out so pretty. What a beautiful job you have made of it.
