Allow me to introduce you to our newest additions to our growing menagerie of animals:
This is Debbie, or Garter, or Diamond, or Rowan...
This is Alice, or Stocking, or Leaf, or Noro...
This is Kim, or Moss, or Scallop, or Jaeger...
This is Elizabeth, or Seed, or Willow, or Koigu...
This is Cornelia, or Rib, or Purl, or Lorna...
Can you tell we're having fun here?! Of course, the children are going for more fanciful names such as 'Fluffy', or 'Snowflake' or 'Felicity'. Anybody got any other suggestions?
They are lovely creatures, very good-natured and easy to handle. They are all orphans (though there are two sets of sisters in there) and have been bottle-reared by a neighbour so probably consider themselves to be human! They're all really soft and warm and, well, for want of a better word WOOLLY!
Sheep...fleece...wool...spinning...!
They're so cute.I like sheep,a lot.

Posted by: Jessica at January 24, 2005 05:44 PMI`m so not going to show these pictures to Aileen! (We just can`t keep a sheep in our garden, love).
Names: Aran, Raglan, Purl (pearl), (my choices)
My children insist on names like: Rock, Brick and Stone (why call something obvious??)
Thanks for making us smile.

How about 2 names for each? The names your children chose + knitting related/brand names... Felicity Noro or something. Very cute sheep! Are you planning on harvesting their wool for spinning?
