We need good thoughts today. January is the month of our five-year old's six-monthly health checks - we've had something every week this month. It culminates today in the 'big one' which involves a general anaesthetic. Once it's over, we can breathe a sigh of relief and get back to normal - at least until results time (over a month away).
I wish I could say that this stuff gets easier but frankly it doesn't. Just harder in a different way.
