I am planning to move my hamroom from upstairs to downstairs in my Ham/Holiday-QTH. The insulation of the room upstairs is so bad the heating takes lot of energy during winter. When I am away I still have to keep the heating on (+7C) to keep the house and the rigs OK. If I moved the rigs downstairs I could let the upstairs freeze during winter and save €€€ by heating only downstairs of the old house.
To the point. I tried to make careful study about your desk/shelf for the rigs. I have to build such a radio-corner for the rigs that is presentable also to my quests. The one upstairs (on the URL) is not too good-looking, but there is lot of room for ventilation.
I am not very good carpenter, but I think I may have to try building the radiodesk myself. Let's see what happens...
