Great start to the 2005 Es season on 2m, a whole bunch of Italian stations with many of the usual suspects. Lucio I8MPO was huge signal for over and hour as was IK7UXY. It all started just before 1400 and finished here at 15:10. Those that made it into the log are:

Yep, see that last one, typical Es, it manages to leave you frustrated and wanting more. I could hear Spiros calling on 144300.0 but the QRM was massive, I got KM0 but no report. Spiros popped up on the chat, he had heard me very well and we tried again on 144325.0 but by then it was too late, pity, QRB was 2466km!!
Not a bad start to the season really.
Hi Tim, I'm Pietro IK8ETN. I was on my car with Kenwood th-29 1w and little inside antenna. My rtx was on scanning when I received you that called on 145.500 FM. I had a "blow to the heart" and I am jolted when you answered to me... Incredible ES!
73 and qsl via the boureau!
Pietro
