hello tim

we just missed a qsowith you in the septembercontest. I heard you chatting with a g station and at the end I called you, but you were already qsy or qrt.
I was with two amateurs in JN09iu Saint Valery en Caux on the Normandy coast. Callsign was F/PC5M.
Propagation before the contest with good. We did hear beacons from oz ,la and sm on friday-evening.
But during the contest lots of wind and drissly rain. Made nearly 500 qso and 186000 point. I little bit disappointing because we had enlarge our equipement. 2 times 4 x 9 el tonna (vertically stacked) and 2 times 900 watt gs35b pa.
We needed 2 generators of 7 kva to run the thing.
Great fun with al the stuff inside a bunker.
Hope to work you another time from anywhere in Europe.
In the national competittion were now 500 competitionpoints higher than the nearly all time winner PA6NL. But in the octobercontest the do mostley better than us. Think no first place this year but we are growing and may be next year we will winn the dutch competion.
In oktober we will be qrv for the first time on 47 GHz.

greeting from gerard PE1BBI (clubstation PI4GN)
